Thank you Lord, by Dan Burgess

There are probably more hymns of thanksgiving than one might expect, but I chose the Korean translation of "감사해 시험이 닥쳐올 때에, Give Thanks When Trials Approach" because it relates to Daniel's faith habits, which I wanted to share this year. Although the Korean translation was simplified and softened into "주님의 성령이 나를 지켜주시리, 주님의 성령 나를 인도하시리," the original chorus is actually more realistic and painful.

Because..God's soft prompting can be easily ignored by my human nature, which shouts out from within me. 

So we need to build up Holy habits, calluses like Daniel, who can worship God 3 times a day even his life at stake.
