Jasmine / 자스민

Being a plant hoarder?, I need consent from the most important person in my home. She loves fragrant white flowers as her name. I tried 5 or 6 times those species like Jasmines and Gardenias but failed inside and outside.

As last of last, I bought a Jasmine tree for $50 planted it outside and wrapped burlap for winter which finally died.

Last of last Jasmin died.

However, by following one of my coworker's advice, I sniped small branches which were unnecessary and put them in water and soon got roots and transplanted on soil without expecting to grow. I put it outside during summer it survived. Before fall, I brought that inside also no expectations because no success indoors growing for many others. Breaking my expectations and experiences, even blooming flowers with fragrance which makes me set up plant lights for this Jasmine. Even original mother Jasmine died, it survived the attack by insects.

Still, it is not enough to fill the kitchen with natural fragrance, I hope one day my wife smiles at me like Jasmine.
