Redstar Peach Tree / 레드스타 복숭아 나무

Peach tree was on my future list because the flowers looked so beautiful. 
However, the fruit may not benefit us because of the wildlife. 

I happened to meet peach trees at Costco around Victoria Day, which made me want to purchase them, but I didn't.
Finally, go back 2 weeks later, only the last one was left behind. 

Redstar Peach tree..Which is a cultivar from Redheaven. 

I researched before planting because I failed a pear tree around Father's Day without notice.

Peach Tree plant & care

I bought stones, soil, and manure from Home Depot. 

It took time and energy to dig out and cut roots... be careful for some pipes.

1:1:1 ratio for soil, final..but PH was 5.

June 6, tried to fix the pH with soda...but not that successful. Also, the buds are growing bigger and insecure because of the wildlife. 

June 12, with Dallarama net, I attempted to protect the fruit as much as I could.

More than 2 months passed after I planted. I tried to water regularly as I could.
Thankfully, the wildlife didn't attack my venerable peach tree at all. The buds are growing to a certain size like plum size. I harvested 12 precious. The peach size was disappointing, but the taste was fantastic, sweet and watery, with a refreshing quality. Adequate firmness of the flesh is also perfect. Wife and even son, thumbs up. I save seeds for the next project.
